Ola Lømo Ellingsen is a trumpet player and composer based in Oslo, Norway. He's a versatile musician and improviser, educated at NTNU's Jazz Department in Trondheim. Ola plays and composes music across a broad musical spectrum, ranging from traditional and modern jazz, to RnB, club and beat music. He's involved in several projects at the young Norwegian jazz scene, including Det Nye Norske Storband, Cosmic Swing Orchestra, When I Return and his own project MONSTERA.

In addition, he does a lot of other gigs as a freelance musician, such as weddings, funerals and various events. Ola enjoys working with larger ensembles, both as a player and leader, and he has gained a lot of experience conducting big bands such as Kjellerbandet and Trøndelag Big Band during his time in Trondheim. Ola has several years of experience as a teacher in trumpet and improvisation - and he enjoys working with students at any level!
